Doors & Windows
From Bottle School Wiki
- When taking measurements for the doors and windows be sure to take into account the finishing layer of cement that will be added to the frame (columns and beams) of the building.
- It is best to wait until the work is complete before taking measurements for any doors and windows.
- Doors can be made of any readily available material. Use local customs as a guide.
- Windows can be expensive, fragile and stifling in some climates. You may find that bars (external or recessed) can provide better circulation and security without breaking the bank in some cases.
