LOWER BEAMS

• Lower beams serve as the base of all of the walls of the bottle school. They are constructed using the metal rebar cage which is connected by tie wire to the rebar cages of the columns.
• You can construct the lower beam rebar cage around the principal columns by only completing them halfway, and then sliding it down the principal column rebar cages. After the principal columns have gone through the rebar cage for the lower frame, attach the rest of the rebar needed to complete the cage.

• Once the principal columns are all attached to the lower beam you can start attaching your wooden, or metal forms and drilling holes for your pins.
